Our Story

In Japanese culture, there was a custom called "kiribi." A custom that keeps evil spirits away from loved ones by striking a stone with steel so that sparks fall on their back before they start their journey. The sparks represent good luck and good fortune to the traveler, it is also supposed to keep the traveler safe from harm or injuries. Whether it be just going to the store or traveling across the world, the stone and steel are struck for good luck.

In the spirit of tradition and symbolism, SparkingWaxlights is here on the internet to provide those sparks virtually on your back and wish you luck in your journey ahead. We are here to motivate, inspire, and inform our Waxlight members.
